1. Chili Lime Salt Recipe
Let’s start with the chili lime recipe as this fiery blend of the red pepper flakes and the tangy lime is remarkable over taco, fajita, French fries with the chipotle mayo and may be just about anything that you might have in your kitchen.
Ingredients:
Makes approximately 3/4 cup
You need ¾ cup unrefined salt (coarse or fine) and 1 each of a tablespoon of crushed red pepper flakes and fresh organic lime zest.
Instructions:
You should remove the outer zest from lime using the cheese grater or maybe the microplane zester. Try to make sure that you are not peeling off the bitter white pith. Now, lay the zest on a towel and let it air dry for a couple of hours. After it has dried up, you can combine it with the salt and the crushed red pepper flakes. At last, pour the salt in a jar and use it liberally
